The Cumbria Dark Skies Festival is an annual Autumn event that offers a range of unique and exciting activities designed to celebrate the beauty and mystery of the night sky including stargazing walks, astronomy talks, night-time canoeing, nightlife guided walks, dark sky photography sessions, stargazing swims​ and much more.

For the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure, why not join the Forest Run & Yoga sessions at Whinlatter Forest just 17 minutes drive from us here at Lake District Castle Inn Hotel on Friday November 8th and 22nd. This unique event combines a forest run with a calming yoga session in the yurt and a short shivasna.
