Tips for a Magical Stargazing Experience
Give Your Eyes Time – Allow about 20 minutes for your eyes to adapt fully to the dark, skip using bright torches in that time.
Use Red Lights – Preserve your night vision with a red-filter torch or by painting a standard torch with red nail polish.
Stay Cosy – Even summer nights can be chilly. Bring layers, warm hats, blankets or snuggle into a beanbag for comfort.
Bring Binoculars – Binoculars reveal far more detail than the naked eye, although not as powerful as a telescope, they’re handy and easy to use.
