Maryport is welcoming back Taste Cumbria in August 2025 for the Taste of the Sea festival. In the heart of the town centre and down on the harbourside, there will be loads going on for foodies, families, locals and visitors. Maryport is located just 25 minutes from Lake District Castle Inn Hotel.

Foodies will love the new oyster bar and fresh seafood to buy straight off the boat, as well as the first Fish & Fizz Supper. Those in search of a big night out can buy tickets for Bingo Loco, the lively global stage show packed with music, games and top prizes.
Here’s a sample of the festival line-up, all of this is FREE to attend. Stalls open 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
